there is this feeling
i have hidden far deep inside of me, a feeling. as a tree, that sends it roots into the depths of the earth, grows very large & strong - so too, has this feeling. there was a time when i thought if i let it remain unseen & nameless i could enjoy it & yet escape the vulnerability of possible hurt. but then as a tree requires the warmth of the sun, life is made from the warmth of a feeling shared. when i found these words i grew very warm inside thinking of you.
